Community
- Calix Society
- First and Third Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Parish Center
- Calix is a spiritual program that corresponds to the 12-step program. It is a welcoming community of people who want to improve their spiritual lives because they were afflicted or affected by alcohol or drug addiction.
- Disability Ministry
- This ministry supports individuals and families in our community experiencing physical and developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, or illness/disabilities that may occur with natural aging. Currently volunteers provide resources to individuals and families, conduct a support group for Families of Children with Disabilities, identify and work to correct physical and social barriers in the parish, assist with the Parish Religious Education Program for children with learning challenges and encourage those with disabilities to participate in the activities and ministries of QU.
- Fundraiser Team
- This team supports the parish by planning and facilitating yearly fundraisers as well as brainstorm new ideas. Some events include the flea market, basket bingo, football mania and so much more!
- Gardening Angles
- These angles meet weekly to keep the campus of the parish looking so beautiful by maintaining the various flower gardens throughout the year.
- Hospitality Team
- The Gospel calls us to be a community of hospitality. This team works to provide refreshments for various parish events.
- Knights of Columbus
- The Knights of Columbus are a fraternity of Catholic men who serve the church at the parish level as well as the local community though various acts of service.
- Mary’s Cupboard
- Mary’s Cupboard, now located on the campus of Saint Michael Parish, provides food to the hungry of our local community. Parishioners have been involved in this service of feeding the hungry from the very beginning of Mar’s Cupboard. Food is collected the second Sunday of the month from parishioners. Also, many parishioners volunteer at the cupboard itself.
Faith Formation and Prayer
- Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
- Thursdays from after the 8:30 Mass and ending with Benediction at 5:00 pm in the Day Chapel.
- Charismatic Prayer Group
- Wednesday in the Church Chapel in Church at 1:00 pm.
- Prayer and Worship, sharing in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and fellowship!
- Cross Trian Your Faith
- Wednesday’s at 9:30 am or 7:00 pm in the Parish Center
- This groups helps us grow in the wisdom and knowledge of our Faith through a variety of Bible Studies, Faith filled video presentations and so much more. The most up to date offerings are found in the weekly bulletin.
- Flame of Love
- Mondays 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm in the Parish Center Chapel
- Tuesdays 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm Day Chapel
- Meetings consist of a brief teaching, followed by prayer and recitation of the rosary. Flame of love is a Marian movement dedicated to spreading the Grace of her Divine Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Men’s Gospel Group
- Friday’s from 7:15 am to 8:20 am in the Parish Center
- Men of the parish gather for prayer, Scripture reading for the coming Sunday, reflection and faith sharing.
- Monday Night Gospel Group
- Monday’s at 7:00 pm in the Parish Center
- Men and Women of all ages gather to pray with the Word of God, reflect on the Word and have time for fellowship. Come and share the Word of God with your family and friends.
- Woman’s Gospel Group
- Tuesday’s from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in the parish Center
- Women of the parish gather for prayer, Scripture readings for the coming Sunday, reflection and faith sharing.
- The Queen Prayer Line
- Queen of the Universe is a powerhouse of prayer! Join in praying for the intentions of parishioners right in your own home. See the bulletin for more information.
- Rosary
- After the 8:30 Mass the Rosary is recited in the Day Chapel. All are welcome.
Liturgical
- Altar Servers
- Young parishioners in 4th grade and up are welcome to serve Sunday and Holy Day Mass. Each server will receive the necessary training for this important ministry.
- Church Decorators
- Just like the four seasons, the Liturgical seasons change. These men and women help to keep the church so beautiful throughout the year by maintaining the flower arraignments in the sanctuary. They also help prepare the Church for the holy seasons of Christmas and Easter.
- Extra-Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
- These men and women help distribute Holy Communion at Mass as well as bring the Blessed Sacrament to the sick and homebound.
- Greeters
- Greeters set a positive tone for Mass. They make a difference in people’s lives, simply by saying “hello” or “Good morning” and offering a kind smile.
- Lectors
- Lectors do not simply read, but proclaim the Word of God at Mass. This important ministry is open to not only adults, but young adults and high school aged parishioners as well.
- Liturgical Linen Care
- This group helps to wash and maintain the sacred linens used for the celebration of Mass.
- Ushers
- At every Mass the ushers make sure all are welcome and have a place to sit. They facilitate the collection at Mass as well.
